Back Story...
My Famous Friend was years in the making. The songs on My Famous Friend were penned with Anderson's songwriting partner, Dave Beckett. Anderson and Beckett formed a rare songwriting duo, working together for several years in the early-mid-nineties. Beckett was taken from this world early, the completion of this CD. As a performing duo, Anderson and Beckett called themselves, "My Famous Friend", thus the album title.
Lynn considered closing the book on music altogether, but after a nine month dry-spell from writing, Anderson wrote the song, "FIRE!" It was at this point Anderson decided it was upon her to complete the recording and honor the work she and Dave shared.
