What is a House Concert?

A House Concert is your opportunity to meet with the artist, and listen to the music in an intimate setting.

What do I do to set up a House Concert?

First, contact us to arrange a date and time for your House event and to ask any questions about preparation for the event.

Next, you send out an email similar to the one below and invite people to come over for a house concert. The only difference between a party and a House concert is - they are paying to hear the music. Usually there is either a place at the door when you come in where you deposit your "donation" or where the food is.

Cost: $20 (no one is turned away for lack of funds)

A House Concert is a very special experience. How often in your life have you wished you could have a private concert without the hassles of going out, paying for parking, and all that goes along with it. A House Concert is your rare opportunity to talk to the artist directly and ask the questions you may have always wondered about, "How do you write your songs?" Ever wished you could see the show, then hang out with the artist??!! Well, this is your chance. Everyone is invited!! There are NO tickets, just show up, drop your contribution in the bucket!! CDs will be available for purchase and you may have them autographed after the show. Bring everyone you know! Although this is a House Concert in a private home, the doors are open to all for this rare event. The address will NOT be posted online. If you are receiving this, you are being personally invited to attend.

About the Artist Lynn Frances Anderson

Lynn Frances Anderson is a nationally touring Portland-based Singer-Songwriter. Anderson has performed with legendary musicians. She is currently touring with BB King's singing drummer, Tony Coleman. Anderson is also performing double bills with renowned guitar virtuoso, Jennifer Batten. Batten toured and recorded with Jeff Beck and Michael Jackson.

Anderson has performed and recorded with Scarlet Rivera (Bob Dylan's violinist), Joe Craven (Jerry Garcia, David Grisman), Kirby Kelley (Nashville slide player) on three CDs that have received national airplay. Anderson is known for her powerhouse vocals and captivating performances. She has packed the Aladdin Theatre three times with raving reviews on KINK FM.
